As students return from spring break, many are regretting choices made south of the border. CMC Student, Arthur McGill was particularly unhappy with his mexico vacation that ultimately cost him his left leg and arm.
Ironically, the tragic loss, a product of mistaken identity, was not the work of the Tijuana drug cartel, but rather the brutal product of a local arms dealer.
"They say what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico," noted McGill, tearfully, "Unfortunately, my left limbs happened in mexico."
McGill is one of many newly lopsided students who decided to ignore government warnings regarding the safety of travel to Mexico issued shortly before spring break. Travel officials are completely stumped as to why students would so willingly put themselves in harms way.
One official really cut to the nub of the issue when he noted the importance of safe travel plans. "It's really not worth if for students to go out on a limb for breaks."
