Earlier this week, an unknown Scripps student indecently exposed herself to a male Claremont resident on the corner of Indian Hill and Foothill Blvd while he was jogging. The resident was unharmed. The Claremont Police Department and Campus Safety were called.
The perpetrator was described as a white female in her late teens, approximately 120 lbs with short dark hair. She was wearing a dark trench coat with no clothes underneath.
"She just came out of no where," said the victim, who wished to remain anonymous. "I was just sitting in my van checking out the campus and handing out candy when she ... god ... it's hard to talk about it."
This recent case is just another incident in a spree of indecent exposure complaints from Claremont residents. Claremont Police have been working with Campus Security to locate the perpetrator. The most common victims are lone Asian or Latino men in their early thirties with thick glasses, hoodies, and baseball caps.
Until the suspect can be located, Police recommend locals to stay clear of campus roads often frequented by Scripps students. The Police Chief commented, "We are optimistic that the perpetrator will be brought to justice, there can't be many students at Scripps fitting our description."
